CALERO, CALAPAN CITY – On 30 May 2022, DOLE MIMAROPA, led by RD Naomi Lyn C. Abellana, pledged its support along with 9 other National Government Agencies and Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. in the implementation of the Skills and Capability Training Program for Persons Who Used Drugs (PWUDs).
As mentioned by PDEA MIMAROPA Dir. Gabales, MIMAROPA is the first region to implement this program nationwide.
“The Department is open to livelihood applications especially from your group and marginalized sectors. Make sure to learn and develop your skills (provided for free by TESDA) so that the livelihood assistance given to you will succeed.”, RD Abellana said in her message. She also provided the contact details and address of DOLE MIMAROPA for further concerns.
This Skills and Capability Training Program for Persons Who Used Drugs (PWUDs) is a partnership program which aims to rehabilitate and reintegrate every PWUD into society with learned skills, capabilities and livelihood resources to start a new life free from illegal drugs.
